Happy Easter, Christ is Risen

coming to us in a few hours

and again tomorrow

Our bishop, The Right Reverend Dr Paul Barker will be celebrating and preaching on Easter Day at 8 and 10am. At 10am, two young people will be confirmed and one received into the Anglican Church. And wait, there's more! We will also have an Easter Egg hunt in the church during refreshments following the service.

Vale

A reminder that the funeral for George Thomson will be held on Thursday at 11am.

Behind the scenes

Our choir has to be fed on a few occasions during Holy Week and we are grateful for the constant supply of feed provided by SACPA (St Andrew's Choir Parents Association).

Good Friday Walk of Witness

This annual Good Friday event by the Brighton Covenant Churches commenced on our front steps and processed around the block with 10 stations where the procession stopped for prayer, reflection and singing. The processions ends in our Garden of Remembrance following with the 80 participants enjoyed hot cross buns in the western courtyard. Many thanks to those who assisted in providing the refreshments.

Easter School Holidays

There will be no Lectio Divina on Monday.
