Bosch, Adoration of the Magi, 1510
Epiphany
On this day we celebrate how a star led the Magi or Three kings or the Wise Men - to visit the baby Jesus after he had been born. 'Epiphany' comes from the Greek word meaning 'to reveal', as it is when the baby Jesus was 'revealed' to the world, the wider world than Bethlehem.
Our three kings will be back on the altar for the service. having been quaranteened whilstb we had a major wedding just before New Year's Day.
This week our Sunday service will be 9.30am.
