Vicar's News - 3 November 2024

All Saints' Day

In every time and place God calls women, men, and children to holiness. This vocation, rooted in our baptism, is the summit of Christ’s work in us. In the commemoration of saints the Church celebrates Christ’s victory in the lives of particular individuals who have

inspired their own and succeeding generations. The commemoration of saints has always been a part of the Anglican tradition.

O ALMIGHTY God, who has knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship, in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord: Grant us grace so to follow your blessed Saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those unspeakable joys, which you have prepared for them that unfeignedly love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
